Blessings & peace to you in the mighty name of Jesus! What a day we are living in! Confusion, chaos, and strife on every side. We should not be surprised because Jesus told us this would happen in the last days. But more importantly He told us how to overcome this world just as He has! He said in John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” We want to encourage you to get into the Word of God and read “these things” He has spoken to us that will bring us peace. He has not left us alone but has given us His Word and His Holy Spirit to teach us, lead us and comfort us. In John 18:36 Jesus said, “My Kingdom is not of this world” and Romans 14:17 tells us that the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit! In the midst of everything that is happening in this world, let us live in the Kingdom of God: let’s live in righteousness, let’s live in peace, let’s live in joy, let’s live in the Holy Spirit! And let us take this wonderful time of the year and remember to give thanks for what He has blessed us with! We love you and we are thankful for you! We are praying for you every day! Blazin’ a Trail for Jesus, Terrell and Beverly Hello friends, family, and partners!
We pray that all is well with you and yours and that you are staying more closely connected to the Lord by His Holy Spirit than ever before! We are living in perilous times and our country is at a crossroads. There is such urgency in the spirit to pray and seek the face and the will of God. There is a spiritual battle going on in the heavenly realms and we need to do as the Israelites did in 2 Chronicles 20:15-23. “This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow march down against them. You will not have to fight this battle… Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you... Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’ Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the Lord. Then some … stood up and praised the Lord, the God of Israel, with a very loud voice. As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated… [and] they helped to destroy one another.” We hear people say, “God is in control” but in every circumstance that God gives the victory, there is a vital part that His people have in it, as in the previous passage. Even Jesus said in Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” It is our responsibility as Christians to pray, stand firm, sing, praise and worship until we see the victory and to be led by the Spirit in our everyday lives. And as election day draws near it is also our responsibility as Americans to pray and vote and make our voices heard so that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven! His will is life, liberty, peace, morality, and free will! Let’s be the hands and voice of God in our great nation so that we can truly say we are “One Nation Under God” again! We love you and appreciate you! We are praying for you every day! Blazin’ a Trail for Jesus, Terrell and Beverly
Joy & peace to you in the awesome name of Jesus! In John 14:27 Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
If there are two things this world needs today, they are JOY & PEACE! Friends, as Believers and followers of Jesus we have that joy & peace living in us by His Holy Spirit who dwells in us! And it is our responsibility to remain calm, peaceful and full of joy in the midst of the storm so that others may see and desire the life that we have in Jesus! It should be our longing and purpose to live in such a way that souls will be added to His Kingdom daily. Romans 14:17 tells us what the Kingdom of God is, “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” As we go about our daily lives it is our prayer that we aaaaallll will walk in God’s fullness knowing His righteousness (right way of doing things), peace & joy that is only found in HIM. We love you and we are praying for you every day! Please send us your prayer requests so we can know how to pray specifically for you, and your praise reports so we can rejoice with you in the goodness of God! This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! Sometimes in the midst of trials and tribulations it can be hard to rejoice and be glad. But we can do aaaaalllll things through Christ who gives us the strength!
The past couple of months have proven that! First with the passing of our dear friend and co-laborer, Mark Clark, who had a sudden heart attack just days before he was to take a team to Honduras from his church. He has accompanied us on more than 15 trips to Honduras and raised thousands of dollars to help feed the hungry. He had such a heart for the little children and was known to them as Papa Marcos. He will be so greatly missed! And second, with the whole Coronavirus pandemic, which has caused fear, anxiety and worry among so many. But as children of the Most High God we have His promises that He will never leave us or forsake us. He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind (one that is renewed by the Word of God and which trusts in Him). Our prayer for you is that, in the midst of tragedy, you have that peace that passes understanding, the hope that our faith is built upon, and the joy of the Lord which is our strength! We love you and appreciate you, and we know that the God of the universe has you in the palm of His hand! We send you love and HUGS in Jesus’ name! Blazin’ a Trail for Jesus, Terrell and Beverly
